So how do I get to Bowood House?
By Road:
Bowood House is only 7 miles from Junction 17 of the M4 and is clearly signposted on the motorway. Once you have left the motorway follow signs to "Chippenham". At next roundabout, pick up the signs for "A4 Calne" which will take you around and through Chippenham. Take the "A342 to Devizes", off the A4, into Derryhill village. The Rose Tree Jam and Bowood House will be clearly signposted. Bowood House is approximately 3 miles out of Chippenham.

By Train:
Chippenham station is the closest and best station to get to. There are direct trains from London, Bristol, Bath, Reading and Swindon.

By Bus:
Bus no 55 & 55A from Chippenham Railway Station - toward Swindon. Alight at Studley Crossroads - walk up Derryhill following signage - Bowood House is approximately half a mile from Studley Crossroads.

By Taxi:
There are loads of friendly local taxi firms, we will provide you with a list of numbers from May 1st.

By Coach:
We will be operating coach packages from certain towns and cities and again we will have more information regarding this from May 1st.





01. What about the nibbles and tipples?
Unfortunately, you will not be allowed to bring your own food and drink on to the site. We have made sure there will be a number of stalls selling a variety of different foods and of course a fully licensed bar that will offer you a great range of wine, beer, cider and spirits. We also promise that the prices being charged will NOT make your eyes water!

02. Am I old enough?
All ages are welcome, bring the whole family!! However children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children 5 and under are welcome free of charge but, due to the nature of large outdoor music events, we do not recommend you bring small children. We do not have child care facilities at The Rose Tree Jam.

03. When will my tickets arrive?
Tickets will be dispatched 6 weeks prior to the event. Tickets can also be collected on the day of the concert at the onsite ticket office.

04. What time can we make the dash to the front of the stage?
Gates open at 2.00pm, acts start at 2.45pm. Headline acts will take to the stage around 9.30, the show will finish between 11.30 and 12.00.

05. Where can we stay if we want to make a weekend of it?
There are a number of small hotels and campsites within 5 minutes of the site. See below for further information.

06. What if I want to sit down?
Standing up all afternoon and night can be very tiring so you are welcome to bring chairs and picnic rugs. You will, however, be asked to sit a certain distance from the stage. No gazebos or similar tent constructions please.

07. Where can I park the Jalopy?
There will lots and lots of safe free parking onsite.

08. What if I, or a friend, are disabled?
Disabled Car Parking will be available closer to the entrance of the site. There will also be disabled toilet facilities. Any disabled ticket holder may admit one carer free of charge.

09. What can I NOT bring into the event arena?
Please don't bring into the event arena glass bottles, cans, cutlery, fireworks, BBQ's, sparklers, flags, banners, poles, or umbrellas. Any items our security team deem inappropriate will also not be permitted.

10. Why would you cancel the event?
The event will continue regardless of the weather conditions, except in extreme circumstances. Tickets will only be refunded if the event is cancelled by the organiser and as long as the ticket is returned within 28 days of the due concert date. The booking fee is not refundable under any circumstances.

11. What if I lose something?
The Rose Tree Jam will not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal property brought on to the event site.

12. What if I want to take pictures?
Taking a few photos is ok, but professional recording, photographic, visual or audio visual is strictly forbidden.

13. What toilet facilities will there be?
There will be plenty of clean toilets on the site. Please use them or you will more than likely be asked to leave.

14. What if I need first aid?
There will be fully trained first aid units on site to care for those who may need it.

15. Drugs are a NO NO.
We will not, under any circumstances, condone the use of drug taking on the site. If you are found to be doing so you will be immediately ejected.
